Incorporating technology into my teaching practices... Not an easy
task, but I´m willing to do so and become more familiar with all the
possibilities the web and its tools can provide me with.

 Reflecting upon how my students learn, I´ve come to the conclusion
that my best learners are the curious ones, the ones who are
integrated in their learning process, the ones who feel their needs
are being fulfilled.
They learn all the time, from every single source possible, from their
parents' way of driving, from a game in the computer, from an
interaction in class, from the way I ask them about a homework
assignment, from practicing and practicing... Wow! Along with this
question (how do my students learn) comes another one: how conducive
to learning are my teaching practices? Am I using engaging
technologies in my teaching practices? Perhaps much less than I could,
and should, and, hopefully, will from, let´s say a couple of weeks
on...
I guess my greatest barrier to incorporate technology into my
classrooms is to actually believe it, see it as a powerful
collaboration. That´s it. So, it´s time I started overcoming it.

Teaching has to do with the soul, with our ability to connect with
people we would never have the chance to if we were not teachers.
